New Councillor Essentials - Milborne St Andrew

This programme will give newly elected or co-opted councillors a good introduction to parish and town life. Please note -  It is more beneficial if you have attended at least one council meeting before beginning this programme. It is also better for delegates to have completed the e-learning below before attending the New Councillor Essentials webinar.

What happens after my clerk has made my booking?
Immediately after the booking has been submitted, you will receive an email confirmation - please check your junk mail if this is not received in your inbox.

Two weeks prior to the New Councillor Essentials training you will receive information by email on how to access the pre-session A & B e-learning modules (B e-learning applies only if the in-person Standards in Public Life training was not booked). For the best experience we would advise using a desktop or laptop, although these can be completed on a tablet or smartphone.

A reminder will be sent a few days before the New Councillor Essentials training session to give you time (if needed) to complete the e-learning
