WATCH THE VIDEO: New Councillor Induction Programme

This programme will give newly elected or co-opted councillors a good introduction to parish and town life. Please note -  It is more beneficial if you have attended at least one council meeting before beginning this programme. It is also better for delegates to have completed any e-learning below before attending the New Councillor Essentials webinar.

What happens after my clerk has made my booking?
Immediately after the booking has been submitted, you will receive an email confirmation - please check your junk mail if this is not received in your inbox.

* You will receive information on how to access the pre-session A & C (if C was your chosen option) modules - each take approximately 45 minutes to work through. For the best experience we would advise using a desktop or laptop, although these can be completed on a tablet or smartphone.

A reminder will be sent a few days before the New Councillor Essentials online training session to give you time (if needed) to complete the e-learning.
