Dorset Council's Waste Services are introducing a booking system for accessing household recycling centres (HRCs), commonly known as the tip.
This will require all residents to book before they attend. The booking system aims to deliver savings by preventing non-Dorset residents from accessing the HRCs for free, improving operational efficiency, reducing congestion, managing waiting times, and reducing misuse by commercial vehicles.
This webinar will brief Town and Parish councillors on the full drivers for the booking system, explain how it will work for residents, and provide clear timescales for its implementation and the communication plan to support it. There will be opportunities for councillors to ask questions at the end.
