This opening session is online and lasts for 2.5 hours with a comfort break.

SESSION CONTENT - Law & Procedures for Councils

In this session the following Learning Objectives (LO) are covered:

• LO5 - Understands requirements of GDPR legislation
• LO6 - Difference between statutory duties and powers
• LO7 - Understanding general powers of council
• LO8 - Implications of employment law and equality
• LO9 - Implications of health and safety
