This opening session is online and lasts for 5 hours with comfort breaks and a lunch break.

SESSION CONTENT - Core Roles in Local Council Administration

In this session the following Learning Objectives (LO) are covered:

• Personal Statement
• LO1 - Roles, responsibilities of council and individuals
• LO2 - Carry out research and make recommendations
• LO3 - Identifying core documents and policies
• LO4 - Professional writing skills and use of comms technology
