NHS Dorset are looking for community leaders to help create their winter messaging campaign. This may be yourselves, your colleagues, or people you know within your networks and contacts. Please let those fantastic people you know about this campaign so they can help inspire Dorset communities to think about the little things that can make a big difference this winter by way of a short quote or possible short video clip.
NHS Dorset would love to hear from people who might be helping foodbanks, shopping for neighbours, someone to talk to, voluntary transport, support groups, religious leaders etc.
We want to celebrate the little things people do that make a big difference to their friends, families, and communities. Our aim is to encourage people to ‘give a little’ back to help those around them this winter. We would love to hear from you about what small things you do (e.g. volunteer your time, check in with your community) that make a big difference to the people around you. We’d also like to hear your suggestions for what small things other people can do to make a big difference to others this winter. We will use your stories and suggestions to help build some winter messages for social media and other communications channels.
The graphic below gives some examples of how we will do this. If you would be happy to share a photo, or take part in a video, it would really help bring the messages to life.
