The Dorset Branch of the Society of Local Council Clerks (SLCC) meets quarterly and all town and parish clerks are encouraged to attend the meetings.

The Dorset Branch of the Society of Local Council Clerks (SLCC) meets quarterly and all town and parish clerks are encouraged to attend the meetings. Clerks are welcome even if they are not members, so they can get an understanding of the benefits of the meetings and being a member of the SLCC.

There are standard agenda items for each meeting, but we always have a different speaker relevant to the role of a clerk, and there is plenty of time for problem solving around the table. We are a group that likes to support each other and share ideas regardless of the size of the council.
