Dorset Council have issued parish and town councils with important contact information to share in their communities so that the right organisations can be alerted to issues in local areas.

News Item from Dorset Council: Following Cabinet endorsement at its December meeting, the Dorset Council UK Shared Prosperity Fund and Rural England Prosperity Fund grants for both community groups and organisations, together with local business grants, will launch on Tuesday 12 December 2023.

NHS Dorset are looking for community leaders to help create their winter messaging campaign. This may be yourselves, your colleagues, or people you know within your networks and contacts. Inequality on carer allowances highlighted this Carers Rights Day

On Carers Rights Day, Thursday 23^rd November, campaigners are urging the Government to end an inequality on carer allowances ahead of next May’s local elections.
