Public Survey on Future of Policing

Dorset Police and Crime Commissioner, David Sidwick, is inviting residents to have their say on the future of policing ahead of a government review.

The Government has announced plans to review police force structures and consider wider changes to the way policing is organised across England and Wales. While no decisions have been made about Dorset, the proposals could have implications for how policing services are delivered in the future. The survey ensures the views of Dorset residents are captured and represented as national discussions on reform continue.

David Sidwick said: "These are potentially significant changes for policing, and it is important that the people of Dorset have the opportunity to make their voices heard. While we do not yet know what the final proposals will look like, any future decisions should take account of the views and priorities of local communities. I would encourage residents, businesses and community groups across Dorset to take a few minutes to complete the survey and share their thoughts."

Please share the survey with your communities.
