Dorset PCC, David Sidwick, provides new leaflet mid-way through the Good Safe Summer campaign.
Message from David Sidwick:
The campaign is designed to proactively encourage people who are living in or visiting Dorset to come and enjoy all our county has to offer whilst highlighting that Dorset Police will not tolerate crime and if a crime is committed, there will be repercussions. Patrols will continue in popular tourist areas and I am delighted to see that there has been considerable success so far, with 70 per cent of our hotspots seeing reductions in serious violent crime and 66.8 per cent seeing reductions in anti-social behaviour.
As we progress through a demanding summer period, my office will be out and about across the county engaging with residents and visitors to advise on the multi-faceted work of the Office of the PCC, find out more about how people feel about policing and collect their feedback, which ultimately goes to shape the Police and Crime Plan going forward.
As part of that work, they will have a new information leaflet to hand, which I would like to share with you. The leaflet gives an update on the progress being made against the priorities of the Police and Crime Plan as well as having important contact information and reporting intelligence advice and I would be delighted if you would share it with your contacts.
I wish you all a Good Safe Summer and look forward to seeing and speaking with many of you in the course of our work.
Kind regards
David Sidwick
Dorset Police & Crime Commissioner
