Charge up your day with all things EV! Test drives, cars, chargers & charging, the tech & friendly chats.
Saturday 16 May | 11am - 3pm | Weymouth seafront
Dorset Council, in partnership with Let’s Experience Electric, Connected Kerb and the Energy Saving Trust, will give Dorset residents the chance to look at and try a range of electric vehicles, learn more about on‑street chargepoint plans for Dorset and have the chance to ask questions in a relaxed and friendly environment, de-bunking some myths along the way. The council hope to run similar events in other locations across Dorset over the next few years.
What’s on?
Test-drives and accompanied drives (booking in advance essential) and a variety of electric vehicles for all budgets to view. Energy Saving Trust experts will be on hand to answer just about any question about EVs, including charging or EV batteries. Dorset Council’s Charging Ahead EV team along with the council's new Chargepoint Operator (CPO) Connected Kerb, will demonstrate and discuss early plans for the new EV on-street chargepoints for locals and those from further afield in Dorset.
Places can be booked on the Go Electric! eventbrite page.
