Local Alliance Groups and Dorset Council have made funding available for community groups, education settings and volunteer organisations.
There are seven Local Alliance Groups across the Dorset Council area, each focused on bringing together people who are passionate about improving the lives of children, young people and families. Dorset Council is working closely with these groups and funding is now available to kick-start projects that empower local young people.
If you know a group that works with young people then encourage them to find out more to get creative ideas off the ground and make sure that every project reflects the needs and aspirations of young people. Whether applying as an individual (up to £5,000) or in partnership (up to £20,000), each project can make a real impact.
