As employment legislation continues to evolve, it can be challenging for parish and town councils to keep pace with changing requirements and best practice. While some larger councils benefit from dedicated HR professionals, many smaller parish and town councils do not have access to in-house expertise. Our partnership with WorkNest helps bridge that gap, offering DAPTC member councils access to professional HR and employment law expertise when they need it.
Support and services from WorkNest are not benefits of membership and do come at a cost. They can be accessed on a flexible pay-as-you-go basis, enabling councils to obtain expert advice and support as and when required without the commitment of an ongoing contract. For councils that find they need more regular assistance, it may be financially advantageous to consider a retained service arrangement, providing ongoing access to support and potentially reducing costs over the longer term.
