Message from Celine Mills of Cranborne Chase National Landscape
We are delighted to be welcoming new enquiries for grants for 2025-26, which will be of interest to Parish Councils in the Cranborne Chase National Landscape.
In previous years, we have funded several applications from local parish councils…
- For East Knoyle Parish Council, we funded scrub clearance and planting of 550 trees – hawthorn, goat willow and hazel
- At land near the allotments in Sutton Mandeville, we funded removal of tree stumps and improvements to the right of way for the Parish Council
- In Chilmark we funded establishment of a community orchard for the Parish Council, plus restoration of chalk grassland
This is the 5th year of Farming in Protected Landscapes (FiPL) funds and we have over £550,000 to award to local projects which provide benefits for NATURE, CLIMATE, PEOPLE AND PLACE.
You can find more information about the grants here Farming in Protected Landscapes - Cranborne Chase National Landscape but if you have any ideas, please just give us a call. We are very happy to meet you on site and advise on what could be supported. We would then work closely with you to develop an application and provide support all throughout the process.
We look forward to hearing from you.
