Bullying and Harassment Essentials

Image to illustrate course

This e-learning course increases awareness of the impact and type of bullying behaviours that can occur in the workplace and provides guidance on what to do if you're being treated unfairly at work.

Bullying and harassment represents a very real health and safety risk at work. In fact, over a third of UK employees report to have been bullied at work. Through clear identification of bullying behaviour and a zero-tolerance approach from both employers and staff, a  safe, healthy and fair working environment can be estamblished. Remaining mindful about your own behaviour and calling out or reporting bullying and harassment when you see or experience it, can stop bullies in their tracks and make all the difference to someone who is struggling.

By the end of this course, you should be able to:

  • Determine what constitutes bullying and harassment and how it’s regulated under the law
  • Recognise the impact bullying has on individuals and organisations
  • Identify types of bullying behaviour that may exist in the workplace
  • Explain what you and your employer can do to prevent bullying at work
  • Follow correct procedure should you or a colleague experience bullying or harassment in your workplace
