Data Protection for Councillors*

This course clarifies a councillor’s legal responsibilities under data protection legislation to themself and their council.

In this course, Breakthrough Communications will guide you on the correct procedures, including best practice, will be covered along with an introduction to Freedom of Information and the implications it has for councillors. Suitable for new councillors as well as longer serving ones as a refresher.

Please note: to complete CDF Essentials take this course or Data Protection Essentials. Completion of both is not necessary despite an asterisk being applied to both courses.
