SUBMIT DELEGATE FEEDBACK TO DAPTC
There is likely to be an Extraordinary General Meeting in 2024 around Spring with the final date to be confirmed to members in early 2024.
NOTE: More than one delegate can attend from member councils, but voting is restricted to one vote per member. Please ensure your delegates know who is elegible to vote as, this will be asked during the Zoom registration process. If meeting in person in 2024 this will be done by voting cards.

DAPTC 2024 Annual General Meeting Timeline:
29 March 2024 - Reminder to member councils of the AGM Timeline for 2024 and supporting documents by email to Clerks and notice in the DAPTC e-news for 2 weeks.
31 May 2024 - Reminder to Clerks of the AGM Timeline and issue the member survey to gather views on the format for the AGM (online or in person). Publish the results of format survey by 14 June 2024.
31 July 2024 - Deadline for DAPTC constitution changes from member councils and parish meetings.
23 August 2024 - Reminder to member councils of the AGM Timeline for 2024 and supporting documents by email to Clerks and notice in the DAPTC e-news for 3 weeks.
16 September 2024 - Deadline to issue DAPTC constitution changes to DAPTC Members
27 September 2024 - Member Motions Deadline
18 October 2024 - Publish DAPTC AGM Notices, registration and Member Information Pack
25 October 2024 - Nominations from members for the roles of President and Vice President - update website and member notifications
23 November 2024 - DAPTC Annual General Meeting 10am to 12 noon.

2024 DAPTC EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETINGS
The meetings for 2024 will take place on the following dates/times and commencing at 10am:

We hope to stage these as hybrid meetings going forward via Microsoft Teams or in person at County Hall
DAPTC GOVERNANCE
The Dorset Association of Parish and Town Councils (DAPTC) is a constituted membership organisation covering the whole of Dorset. The Executive Committee is responsible for the strategic direction and financial management whilst the Chief Executive and small team manage day to day operational matters. Executive Committee meetings are held every quarter throughout the year alongside the AGM in November and Annual Executive Committee meeting in December.
DAPTC Executive Committee members and the Chief Executive represent parish and town councils in other meetings nationally, regionally and across Dorset.

Below the Executive Committee sits a Strategy Working Group which focuses on projects and initiatives in development for the benefit of members and our own operations. A staffing committee has responsibility for the wellbeing of colleagues at DAPTC and the recruitment of resources.

The Area Committee structure is geographically constructed to ensure member views are gathered from across the county.
