DAPTC is a constituted membership organisation covering the whole of Dorset. The Executive Committee is responsible for the strategic direction and financial management whilst the Chief Executive and small team manage day to day operational matters. Executive Committee meetings are held every 6 weeks throughout the year alongside the AGM in November and Annual Executive Committee meeting in December.
DAPTC Executive Committee members and the Chief Executive represent parish and town councils in other meetings nationally, regionally and across Dorset.
DAPTC GOVERNANCE STRUCTURE
Below the Executive Committee sits a Strategy Working Group which focuses on projects and initiatives in development for the benefit of members and our own operations. A staffing committee has responsibility for the wellbeing of colleagues at DAPTC and the recruitment of resources.
The Area Committee structure is geographically constructed to ensure member views are gathered from across the county.
